As much as I love Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb series’ books, her single titles are something else to enjoy. Since 2006 with the release of Angels Fall, a hardcover single title is release each July. Coming this July 6, 2010 is The Search. Below is a blurb of the book. I can’t wait to read it!
Release Date: July 6, 2010
To most people, Fiona Bristow seems to have an idyllic life-a quaint house on an island off Seattle’s coast, a thriving dog-training school, and a challenging volunteer job performing canine search and rescues. Not to mention her three intensely loyal Labs. But Fiona got to this point by surviving a nightmare…
Several years ago, Fiona was the only survivor of the Red Scarf serial killer, who shot and killed Fiona’s cop fiancé and his K-9 partner.
On Orcas Island, Fiona found the peace and solitude she needed to rebuild her life. But all that changes on the day Simon Doyle barrels up her drive, desperate for her help. He’s the reluctant owner of an out-of-control puppy, foisted upon him by his mother. Jaws has eaten through Simon’s house, and he’s at his wit’s end.
To Fiona, Jaws is nothing she can’t handle. Simon, however, is another matter. A newcomer to Orcas, he’s a rugged and in-tensely private artist, known for the exquisite furniture he creates from wood. Simon never wanted a puppy-and he most definitely doesn’t want a woman. Besides, the lanky redhead is not his type. But tell that to his hormones.
As Fiona embarks on training Jaws, and Simon begins to appreciate both dog and trainer, the past tears back into Fiona’s life. A copycat killer has emerged out of the shadows, a man whose bloodlust has been channeled by a master with one motive: to reclaim the woman who slipped out of his hands…

You are so right NR’s single titles are some of my favourites. I was really disapointed with Visions In White and as a complete first couldn’t even finish it:( This sounds much more like it!

I’m really looking forward to this book as well, Tabz. I wait for her single titles every single year like a treat! It’s funny because my hubby hunts them down for me, Nora’s the only author he really recognizes from my bookshelves, lol! That says something, doesn’t it?

Nath – Yep, I love the cover too. I’m not an animal lover but the blurb still sounds good to me!
Betty – Aw, I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t finish Vision in White. It wasn’t a fave reading for me but I’m glad I was able to read it until the end. I hate DNF’s reads!
Hilcia – Your hubby sounds so sweet and thoughtful! Mine notices the books in the store but he doesn’t go out of his way to buy them for me. In fact, he would rather not because of some of the covers. Lol!

This book is AMAZING.!
I’m only 15 years old, so it’s alittle inappropriate for me, but my mom recomened her books.
I read this book, in litterally 14 hours, and I’m only in English 9[It’s a low Engliah class].(: I didn’t sleep or eat, I couldn’t put the book down. 😀
